Friday Finds (1)

So I have just discovered another great meme that happens every week called "Friday Finds" hosted MizB at Should be Reading, featuring books we've discovered in the past week. I think this is a great idea seeing as my TBR shelf and my "Wishlist" shelf grows every single day. So this pass week I found some great books:

The Harlot by Saskia Walker

"It is a Dark Era, one when a lusty lass will do what she must to survive. Even if it means bartering flesh for a palmful of coins…"

Insatiable by Meg Cabot

"Sick of hearing about vampires? So is Meena Harper.
But her bosses are making her write about them anyway, even though Meena doesn't believe in them.
Not that Meena isn't familiar with the supernatural. See, Meena Harper knows how you're going to die. (Not that you're going to believe her. No one ever does.)"

Darker Still by Leanna Renee Hieber

"The Picture of Dorian Gray meets Pride and Prejudice, with a dash of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
New York City, 1882. Seventeen-year-old Natalie Stewart's latest obsession is a painting of the handsome British Lord Denbury. Something in his striking blue eyes calls to her. As his incredibly life-like gaze seems to follow her, Natalie gets the uneasy feeling that details of the painting keep changing..."
